This would be the start of the series I’ll be writing on specialty coffee or the third wave coffee movement in the Philippines. It was last year that we began trying out specialty coffee shops when we get the chance and one of the first ones we’ve visited was Refinery which is located in Rockwell, Makati.


They offer good espresso beverages. I had their pour-over method of brewed coffee and it’s beans has a citrus flavor. I enjoyed their coffee in that they gave me a They also sell instruments for brewing coffee, Lamill Coffee beans and teas. Aside from craft coffee, they also offer cocktails, craft beer and spirits.


If you’re on a coffee crawl, do check this place out for their fine coffees and great food.

This is a good place to dine and have coffee at the same time. Also, it is very near to Powerplant Mall, so you can take a walk there after your visit at this cafe.
